Abstract
本发明属于一种催化剂,特别是用于氨氧化实验的催化剂。它是由氧化铁和氧化铋或者氧化钴和氧化铋按一定的比例,配制成的。在氨氧化演出实验中,加入本发明作为催化剂,在2-3分钟内,就可看到棕红色的二氧化氮生成,效果明显,成本低廉,适合中学化学实验课使用。
Description
本发明属于一种催化剂,特别是用于氨氧化实验用的催化剂。
氨氧化演示实验是高中化学教材中的重点,也是一个难度较大的实验。这个实验告诉学生,氨气和氧气在催化剂铂丝加热的作用下,能生成一氧化氮,一氧化氮不稳,极易被氧化,瞬时能变成二氧化氮。在理论上,二氧化氮是呈棕红色的,但在实际实验中,学生很难看到棕红色,只能勉强地看到淡黄色。这说明在铂丝加热这种催化剂的作用下,氨氧化是不彻底、不完全的,这就是所说的难点。同时,由于该实验所选用的催化剂是铂丝,价格昂贵,多数中学,特别是乡村学校难以解决。
本发明的任务是:提供一种能使氨氧化效果明显、成本低廉的催化剂。
本发明的任务是采用下列配方实现的:它是由3~5%的氧化铋,95~97%的氧化铁或氧化钴所组成、加热后用于氨气和氧气的反应:
在2~3分钟后,即可看到棕红色现象。
本发明与现有的催化剂铂丝相比,具有以下两点优点:
1、能使氨氧化反应迅速、彻底、效果明显;
2、成本低廉。
下面结合附图详细描述在采用本发明作催化剂时,氨氧化演示实验。
图1是采用本发明作催化剂时的氨氧化演示实验流程图。
在本实施例中,本发明的配方为:95%的氧化铁,5%的氧化铋。
演示实验的流程为:
①将两个干燥管4抽干,装入无水氯化钙CaCl2,起干燥作用;
②在广口瓶2内装入1/3瓶,浓度为1∶1的氨水,左端的鼓气球管1应在液面上10毫米处;
③向量杯6内倒入40毫升的石蕊溶液,作为检验试剂;
④在氧化管3内装入本发明和500W电阻丝;
⑤按图中所示将胶塞导管与容器连接严密;
⑥给电阻丝通电,至出现暗红色为止;
⑦鼓气球1鼓入空气,氨气和空气中的氧气在氧化管3内反应,可看到烧瓶4内有大量的棕红色NO2气体生成,片刻量杯6内的石蕊试剂由紫色变成红色。
本发明的配方还可以是:97%的氧化钴,3%的氧化铋。重复上述实验,仍可看到烧瓶4内有大量的棕红色NO2气体生成。

1、一种用于氨氧化催化剂,其特征是:它是由3~5%的氧化铋、95~97%的氧化铁或氧化钴所组成。
2、按照权利要求1所述的催化剂,其特征是:它是由5%的氧化铋、95%的氧化铁所组成。
3、按照权利要求1所述的催化剂,其特征是:它是由3%的氧化铋,97%的氧化钴所组成。
