Abstract

Sistema y método de identificación tridimensional de alteraciones geológicas para la prospección minera, que permite identificar zonas sub-superficiales de interés para la industria minera, donde se considera que la industria minera abarca desde la identificación de zonas de alteración, cuerpos intrusivos, minerales metálicos y no metálicos, o incluso la presencia de tierras raras, así como la realización de prospección para la industria geotermal o la identificación de petróleo o gas (hidrocarburos). El sistema consiste en un conjunto de sensores superficiales, ordenados de una manera predefinida, y donde el registro de las ondas microsísmicas naturales permite elaborar e interpretar un modelo tridimensional que predice la ubicación y forma de una zona de interés minero bajo la superficie.
