Description
Process for the preparation of a compound of glutamic acid with calcium chloride. It has been found that the acid calcium salt of glutamic acid, with calcium chloride, provides a compound which, when dried at 90-1000, forms a white, weathered salt mass that is well crystallized, completely air-resistant and water-soluble. It contains on 1 month. Glutamic acid 1 atom of chlorine and 1 atom of calcium in addition to 1 mol of crystal water.
Your solutions show a neutral reaction and a pleasant taste. One proceeds in the same way for their presentation; that the solution of the acidic glutamic acid calcium salt9 is treated with calcium chloride. The same chemical process also takes place in that a mixture of glutamic acid. and hydrochloric acid is saturated with calcium carbonate.
This also creates the acidic calcium salt of glutamic acid and calcium chloride when saturated, which then forms the same compound. Example 1: A mixture of 147 parts by weight of glutamic acid and 1100 parts by weight of n-hydrochloric acid is heated with 110 parts by weight of calcium carbonate and the solution obtained, after filtering off the undissolved calcium carbonate, evaporated in a water bath.
The new fermentation is deposited in coarse, shiny crystal crusts. After it has been evaporated until strong crystallization, it is allowed to cool, suctioned off, initially finite 50 ",
'.igeui alcohol and then washed with 90 "/ oigein alcohol and finally dried at 90-100". The remainder of the compound is obtained by complete evaporation of the filtrate and freed from any excess calcium chloride present by treating the residue with alcohol.
Example 2: 55.5 parts by weight of anhydrous calcium chloride are dissolved in a solution of 1e> 6 C-xewielrtsteile acidic glutamic acid lime in 2000 parts by weight of water and this solution is evaporated in a water bath. The residue is triturated with alcohol, filtered off with suction, finely washed with something 500% strength and then with 90% alcohol and dried at 90-100 °.
