Abstract

The block is made up of a frame (1) with a light, pull-out, washable insert (7) which the articles stick into. The insert lies in the longitudinal direction of the frame which has a side opening through which the insert is put in and is reclosable.The insert has a base (5) of plastics, wood or metal and it supports bristles (6) which lie in the longitudinal direction of the frame. The position of the insert is limited by a screw (2), pin, spring etc. The insert has some play between it and the frame to allow fluids flow out and keep the bristles dry.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Messerblock zum Einstecken von Messern, Scheren und anderen Werkzeugen. The invention relates to a knife block for inserting knives, scissors and other tools.

Ein Messerblock wird vor allem in Haushalt-und Restaurantsküchen verwendet, um Messer in Griffnähe bereitzuhalten. Dabei handelt es sich meistens um einen Holzblock mit Schlitzen, deren Dimensionen breiter sind als die Klingendik-ken, jedoch schmaler als die Griffe von Messern. Damit kann man Messer während deren Nichtgebrauch in Griffnähe bereithalten. Diese Messerblöcke haben den Nachteil, dass nach dem Zerschneiden von Nahrungsmitteln, Resten die Seitenwände der Schlitze verschmutzen. Da diese nicht einfach sind zum Reinigen stellen diese Messerblöcke eine Gefahr von bakteriologischer Verschmutzung dar. In der Fig. 1 ist der Rahmen 1 des Messerblocks dargestellt. Dieser kann aus Holz, Kunststoff, Metall usw. hergestellt werden. Bei einem Spritzverfahren kann er in einem Arbeitsgang angefertigt werden. In diesen Rahmen wird dann der Einsatz 7 in Pfeilrichtung 11 eingefügt, wie er in der Fig. 2 dargestellt ist. Damit letzterer im Rahmen gehalten ist, sind Arretierungselemente 2 vorgesehen. Diese können aus dem gleichen Material sein, wie der Rahmen oder können während der Herstellung mitverarbeitet oder nachher eingesetzt werden. Diese Elemente 2 können aus Stifte, Schrauben, Federn oder dergleichen bestehen und begrenzen den Weg des Einsatzes 7 im Rahmen 1.
