Abstract

An implant brush is characterized by an alternating rotary movement. The bristles (9), which are disposed at a given angle in the socket (6), clean the implant (18) more effectively. To prevent injury, the socket is made smaller that the housing (3). The socket (6) filled with bristles (9) can be interchanged by a simple pressing movement and is electrically driven. After rotating for a given time, the implant brush stops automatically.

Description

Seit ca. 12 Jahren werden Implantate in der Zahnmedizin angewandt. Es stellen sich jedoch immer die gleichen Probleme der ungenügenden Zahnhygiene. Implants have been used in dentistry for about 12 years. However, the same problems of insufficient dental hygiene always arise.

Die Grundvariante des Implantatreinigers sieht vor, dass nur die Bürsten gewechselt werden und der Gehäuse-Kopf fix mit dem Haltegriff verbunden bleibt. Eine weitere Variante sieht eine flexible Welle (Fig. 4) vor, die fix oder lösbar am Haltegriff montiert wird (19). Auch hier kann der Gehäusekopf fix oder lösbar an der flexiblen Welle montiert werden.
