Abstract
Building element is produced in which are cast several flush-mounted boxes for electrical fittings, and is pref. made of concrete, e.g. porous concrete, or polyurethane, or wood cement. In the example, the element contains recesses for receiving installation pipes and the boxes which consist of 220 V light sockets, telephone connection, connection for telephone intercommunication, and television socket. The sequence, size and number of boxes are variable.
Description

The invention relates to a component, for example made of concrete, foam concrete, lightweight concrete, plastic, glass, wood, wood cement, ceramic or metal, with a cast-in flush-mounted box for receiving electrical fittings.
The finished element can be inserted into the masonry like a building block.
With today's state of construction technology, every electrical installation element must be subsequently embedded in the masonry.
When inserting electrical fittings into the finished masonry, a corresponding cavity must first be pointed out or drilled and the flush-mounted boxes hammered in or plastered in.
The invention is based on the task of simplifying the installation of electrical fittings in masonry.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that several flush-mounted boxes for receiving electrical fittings are cast into the component.
An exemplary embodiment of a component is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing.
The basic mass of the element (1) consists either of concrete, foam concrete, lightweight concrete, plastic, glass, wood, wood cement, ceramic or metal. Recesses (6) are used to accommodate installation pipes and the corresponding flush-mounted boxes. In the example shown, these are light sockets 220 V (2), telephone connection (3), connection for telephone broadcast (4) and television socket (5). The order, size and number of the flush-mounted boxes are variable.
Due to the prefabrication of the components with cast flush-mounted boxes, it is possible to insert flush-mounted boxes, which are used to accommodate electrical fittings, in the shell of a wall without the need for an electrician to be present. Subsequent, corresponding sharpening or drilling work on the finished wall is thus eliminated.
