Description
Kondensator mit Abreisssicherung Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf einen explosions geschützten Kondensator mit einem durch Dehnungs- sicken verformten Metallgehäuse und einem axial durch den Wickel hindurchgeführten, mit einer Sollbruchstelle versehenen Anschlussdraht.
Gemäss der Neuerung ist der Abreissdraht an seinem aus dem Deckel herausragenden Ende derartig ver formt, dass das herausragende Drahtende bei einer Streckung des Gehäuses vom Deckel mitgenommen wird.
Bei bekannten explosionssicheren Kondensatoren mit Abreisssicherung ist der herausgeführte Abre.issdraht an einer Anschluss'fahne festgelötet. Dabei hat sich gezeigt, dass die der Drucksteigerung vorausgehende starke Erwärmung oft ausreicht, um diese Lötverbin- dung zu lösen. Dadurch wird der Abreissdraht beim Wegdrücken des Deckels nicht mitgenommen, so dass kein Abreissen des Drahtes erfolgt. Ein Explosions- bzw. Brandschutz ist in diesem Fall nicht Geboten.
Durch die neuerungsgemässe Ausbildung des Ab reissdrahtes ist dieser Nachteil vermieden.
In der Zeichnung sind zwei Ausführungsbeispiele des Neuerungsgegenstandes dargestellt. Es zeigt: Fig. l einen Längsschnitt durch einen Kondensator mit Abreissdraht, dessen herausragendes Ende abge bogen ist, Fig. 2 einen Deckel eines Kondensators mit einem Abreissdraht, dessen herausragendes Ende breitge quetscht ist.
Ein mit Dehnungssicken 10 versehenes Metallge häuse 11 ist mit einem Wickel 12 bestückt und mit einem Deckel 13 aus Isolierstoff abgeschlossen. Die Anschlussfahnen sind durch einen Hohlniet am Deckel befestigt. Durch den Hohlniet 14 der Anschlussfahne 15 ist ein Ende 17 des Abreissdrahtes 16 hindurchge zogen und abgebogen. Im Inneren ist er axial durch den Wickel hindurch zu einer Kontaktfläche 18 des Wickels geführt. In der :Mitte hat der Abreissdraht eine Sollbruchstelle 19.
Gemäss Fig. 2 ist der Abreissdraht an seinem aus dem Deckel herausragenden Ende 20 breitgequetscht.
Capacitor with tear-off protection The innovation relates to an explosion-proof capacitor with a metal housing deformed by expansion beads and a connecting wire with a predetermined breaking point that is passed axially through the coil.
According to the innovation, the tear-off wire is deformed at its end protruding from the cover in such a way that the protruding wire end is carried along by the cover when the housing is stretched.
In known explosion-proof capacitors with tear-off protection, the tear-off wire that is led out is soldered to a terminal lug. It has been shown that the strong heating preceding the pressure increase is often sufficient to loosen this soldered connection. As a result, the tear-off wire is not taken along when the cover is pushed away, so that the wire does not tear. In this case, explosion or fire protection is not required.
Due to the innovation according to the training of the tear wire from this disadvantage is avoided.
Two exemplary embodiments of the subject of the innovation are shown in the drawing. It shows: Fig. 1 a longitudinal section through a capacitor with tear-off wire, the protruding end of which is bent abge, Fig. 2 a cover of a capacitor with a tear-off wire, the protruding end of which is broadly squeezed.
A housing 11 provided with expansion beads 10 Metallge is equipped with a winding 12 and completed with a cover 13 made of insulating material. The connection lugs are attached to the cover with a hollow rivet. One end 17 of the tear-off wire 16 is pulled through the hollow rivet 14 of the connecting lug 15 and bent. Inside, it is guided axially through the roll to a contact surface 18 of the roll. In the middle, the tear-off wire has a predetermined breaking point 19.
According to FIG. 2, the tear-off wire is squeezed wide at its end 20 protruding from the cover.
