Description
Schweissvorrichtung für thermoplastische Kunststoffe
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine mit heisser Luft betriebene Schweissvor riehtung fiir thermoplastische Kunststoffe mit Ilandgriff und einem damit zu einer Einheit verbundenen Schwei¯gerÏt mit einem Rohrkiirper zur Aufnahme der Heizwicklungen.
Diese Heizwicklungen werden von Druckluft zweeks Erhitzung auf Schweisstemperatur umspült.
Die bekannten ähnlichen Sehweisseinrich tungen weisen den Nachteil auf, dass das die Ileizvorriehtungen umgebende Metallrohr stark erhitzt wird und deshalb durch eine Isolation vor Berühl1lmg geschützt werden muss.

Die mit erhitzter Luft betriebene Schweiss vorriehtung für thermoplastisehe Kunststoffe mit Handgriff und einem damit zu einer Einheit verbundenen Sehweissgerät zur Aufnahme der Heizwicklungen, die von Druckluft zweeks Erhitzung derselben auf Schweisstemperatur umspült werden, ist gemäss der Erfindung da dureh gekennzeichnet, dass der Handgriff zwei und das Schweissgerät drei konzentrische Rohre aufweist, wobei das äussere Rohr des ITandgriffes mit dem äussern Rohr des Seilweissgerätes in Verbindung steht, welches Rohr andernends an das entsprechende Ende des mittleren Rohres angeschlossen ist, das an seinem dem Griff zugekehrten zugekehrten Ende clm innern Rohr in Verbindung steht,
das die Heizwieklungen aufnimmt. Zweckmässigerweise kann das innere Rohr des Handgriffes gegen das Schweissgerät abgeschlossen sein und zur Aufnahme der Heizenergiezuführung dienen.
Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist ein Ausiiihrungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes im Axialschnitt dargestellt.
Die Schweissvorrichtung für thermoplastische Kunststoffe weist ein Halterohr 1 auf, welches von einem Holzgriff 2 umgeben ist.
Das Halterohr 1 steht mit einem Rohrkörper 3 in Verbindung, in welchem Heizwicklungen 4 untergebracht sind. Diese sind in einem Rohr 5 angeordnet, welches sich koaxial zum Rohrkörper 3 erstreckt und mit einer Sehweissdüse 6 in Verbindung steht. Die Stromzuführung zu den Heizvorrichtungen erfolgt über eine Leitung 11.
Zwischen dem Rohrkörper 3 und Rohr 5 ist eine Hülse 7 eingesetzt. Diese Hülse 7 sehliesst sich einerends an einen Gummizapfen 8 an, welcher den direkten Luftzutritt zu den Heizwicklungen 4 sperrt. Die Hülse 7 ist etwas kürzer als der Rohrkorper, so dass am der Schwei¯d se zugekehrten Ende der Hülse 7 zwischen dieser und der Stirnwand 9 des Rohrkörpers 3 ein Durchgang 10 verbleibt. Anderseits erstreekt sich das Rohr 5 nicht bis zur Gummidichtung 8, so dass der Zutritt zu den Heizvorriehtungen von dieser Seite aus offen bleibt.
Im Betrieb strömt die kalte Luft, z. B. von einem Kompressor geliefert, durch das Halterohr 1 dem ringförmigen Zwischenraum zwischen dem Rohrkörper 3 und H lse 7 zu und sorgt dadurch für eine fortwährende K hlung des Rohrkörpers 3. Anschliessend str¯mt, die kalte Luft durch den Durchgang 10 und weiter zwischen der Hülse 7 und Rohr 5 diesem entlang. Der Eintritt der Luft in das Rohr 5 erfolgt an dem der Schweissdüse 6 abgekehrten Ende derselben, worauf die Luft im Rohr 5 erhitzt und durch die Düse 6 der Sehweissstelle zugeführt wird.
Durch die beschriebene Ausbildung der Schwei¯vorrichtung er brigt sich das Anbringen einer Isolation am Rohr 3, wodureh die Herstellung der Schweissvorrichtung vereinfacht und verbilligt wird.

The welding device for thermoplastics has a holding tube 1 which is surrounded by a wooden handle 2.
The holding tube 1 is connected to a tubular body 3 in which heating coils 4 are housed. These are arranged in a pipe 5 which extends coaxially to the pipe body 3 and is connected to a welding nozzle 6. Power is supplied to the heating devices via a line 11.
A sleeve 7 is inserted between the pipe body 3 and pipe 5. This sleeve 7 adjoins a rubber pin 8 at one end, which blocks the direct access of air to the heating coils 4. The sleeve 7 is somewhat shorter than the tubular body, so that a passage 10 remains between the sleeve 7 and the end wall 9 of the tubular body 3 at the end of the sleeve 7 facing the weld. On the other hand, the pipe 5 does not extend as far as the rubber seal 8, so that access to the heating devices remains open from this side.
During operation, the cold air flows, e.g. B. supplied by a compressor, through the holding tube 1 to the annular space between the tubular body 3 and sleeve 7 and thereby ensures continuous cooling of the tubular body 3. Then the cold air flows through the passage 10 and further between the sleeve 7 and tube 5 along this. The air enters the tube 5 at the end of the tube facing away from the welding nozzle 6, whereupon the air in the tube 5 is heated and fed through the nozzle 6 to the welding point.
The described design of the welding device eliminates the need to attach insulation to the pipe 3, which simplifies the manufacture of the welding device and makes it cheaper.
