Description

Porte-eigarette.

Eigarette holder. The cigarette holders currently in use hold the cigarette by one of its ends.

This method of fixation lets the ashes of the cigarette escape as it is burnt.

The object of the present invention is a cigarette holder in which the cigarette is fully housed, thereby preventing ashes from spilling onto clothes or the floor.

The accompanying drawing represents, by by way of example, one embodiment of the cigarette holder which is the subject of the invention.

Fig. 1. is a front view of the cigarette holder.

Fig. 2 is an axial section.

Fig. 3 is a cross section taken along line .4-A of fig. 1.

Fig. 4 is an end view of the apparatus. The cigarette holder shown in Figs. 1 to 4 is made up of two essential parts: The main body 1 of elongated tubular shape, in light incombustible material, and the pipe 21 that it is introduced into the mouth, the latter being fixed by a known means to one of the ends of tube 1.

The cigarette is housed entirely in the tube 1, it is supported over its entire length by four longitudinal arms 3, of small section, having ridges facing towards the interior and, limiting relatively wide openings to closed contour thus allowing the air necessary for combustion of the cigarette to enter. The number of arms may be different from four, but must be a-Li minimum of three. The operation of the cigarette holder is very simple.

After having introduced a cigarette into the cigarette holder, the smoker brings it to his mouth and lights the cigarette which is gradually consumed by not letting the ashes escape, the ashes being kept perfectly , in the cigarette holder until the cigarette is completely burnt.
