      Verfahren    zum     Verpacken    von Kopfzigarren.    Kopfzigarren werden meistens in Stapeln  von 25, 50 oder<B>100</B> Stück in Kistchen ver  packt, wobei Lagen von     abwechselnd    13 und  12 Stück übereinander geschichtet werden,  damit der Stapel     bezw.    das     Kistchen    die       handliche    Form eines flachen Prismas erhält.  Beim Pressen der übereinander geschichteten  Lagen, in denen die Zigarren gegeneinander  versetzt sind, werden die Längen der ver  schiedenen benachbarten Schichten einander       @o    viel als möglich angeglichen. Dabei erhal  ten aber die Zigarren unregelmässigen poly  gonalen Querschnitt.

   Kopfzigarren mit regel  mässiger, zum Beispiel rechteckiger oder qua  dratischer     Querschnittsform    konnten bisher  nicht. in Schichten von 13 und 12 Stück ver  packt werden, da hierbei in den kürzeren       Lagen    unerwünschter leerer Raum entstehen        ürde.    Man ordnet sie daher in Reihen von  10 Stück an, erhält dabei aber Stapel von       innhandlichen    und infolgedessen unbeliebtem  Format.  



       Um,    regelmässig gestaltete Zigarren     eben-          fall"    in den bekannten flachen Kistchen un-         terbringen    zu können, werden gemäss vorlie  gender Erfindung in die Zigarrenschichten  mit geringerer Stückzahl Einlagen angeord  net, um dadurch die Länge dieser Schichten  derjenigen der andern anzugleichen. Die Ein  lagen, welche zum Beispiel Kartonhülsen  sein können, werden zweckmässig vor dem  Pressen der Zigarrenlagen eingebracht und  mit letzteren zusammen dem     Pressdruck    aus  gesetzt.

       In order to be able to store "regularly designed cigars" in the known flat boxes, according to the present invention, inserts are arranged in the cigar layers with a smaller number of pieces, in order to make the length of these layers equal to that of the others. which can be cardboard tubes, for example, are expediently introduced before the pressing of the cigar layers and the pressing pressure is set off with the latter.
