Description
Foot warming insole. The subject matter of the present invention is a shoe insert serving as a foot warmer for people staying in the open air, in which an incandescent body is accommodated in the sole of the footwear.
Such shoe inserts according to the present invention are particularly intended for people who must have freedom of movement, but are still tied to place, such as sentinels, supervisors and the like.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, in which: FIG. 1 shows a side view of a shoe equipped therewith, showing the general design of the shoe insert.
FIG. 2 is a diagram of a box connected to a case containing the incandescent body. Insole, and rig. 3 is a longitudinal section of this box. In the drawing, the sole 1 of a shoe 2 has an almost parallelepipedic recess 3, which is bridged by a metallic insole 6 which forms the cover of a box 5 which houses the incandescent body 4. In order to weaken the sole as little as possible, it is only carried out as far as the lowest, particularly strongly selected, sole 7 and leaves side edges on the upper sole layers.
The box 5 is riveted onto the underside of the sole 6. One end of the box is designed as a cover 8 and carries a conical wire mesh 9 on its inside as a support for the one end of the glowing body 4, which consists of a cartridge of compressed carbon powder, the other end of which is connected to one in the Lid opposite box wall be fixed spring 10 is held. In order to ensure the correct central position of the incandescent body 4 with respect to the support 9 and the spring 10, a cylindrical stocking 11 made of wire mesh is pushed over said parts.
Since the incandescent body is nowhere in direct contact with the box walls, the air has free access to the glowing parts.
In order to secure the access of air to the box as much as possible, the insole 6 and in the side walls of the box holes 12 are attached to it as a cover. In addition, in order to give the air passage between the shoe upper leather, sole and foot as forward thrust as possible, wave-shaped bends 13 are provided in the side edges of the insoles 6.
Instead of compressed carbon powder, the incandescent body could also consist of another equivalent fuel. Its storage in the box could also be different.
