Description
Selbsttätig anspringender Überfallheber. U m ein möglichst schnelles Anspringet der selbsttätigen Überfallheber zu erreichen, muss der die Luftverdünnung im Heber sehlauch bewirkende Wasserstrahl schon bei einer geringen Überstauung der Überlauf krone möglichst stark sein. Das wurde bis her erreicht, indem man das Wasser auf dem ganzen Umfang des Saugrohres in dieses eintreten liess, wobei aber die das Saugrohr überdeckende Haube breiter als dieses ge macht wurde, was besonders bei mehreren nebeneinander angeordneten Hebern kost spielige Bauarbeiten erforderte.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt, ohne solche Verbreiterung der das Saugrohr über deckenden Haube den luftverdünnenden Was serstrahl stark zu machen. Sie besteht darin, dass die Länge der Überlaufkante grösser ge macht ist, als die grösste Breite des Heber saugrohres beträgt, zum Beispiel dadurch, dass die Überlaufkante nach einer gebroche nen Linie verläuft.
Eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist in beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellt. Fig. 1 zeigt im Vertikalschnitt nach der Linie b-b von Fig. 2 einen Überfallheber; Fig. 2 den -dazu gehörigen Horizontal schnitt nach der Linie a=u von Fig. 1; Fig. ä zeigt beispielsweise vier Überfall kanten von gegenüber Fig. 1 und 2 variier tem Verlauf.
Bei einer Überstauung der Überlaufkrone (Fig. 1 und 2) um 5 cm wird der Wasser strahl S etwa doppelt so stark werden, als wenn die Überlaufkante senkrecht und ge radlinig verliefe, da die Linie etwa doppelt so lang ist wie die Breite B des Überfalles. Natürlich lässt sich die Länge der Überlauf krone noch verändern -und verlängern und damit der Strahl S noch weiter verstärken, wie in Fig. 3 im Grundriss dargestellt ist.

In order for the automatic overflow siphon to start as quickly as possible, the water jet that causes the air to dilute in the siphon hose must be as strong as possible even if the overflow crown is only slightly flooded. This has so far been achieved by letting the water enter the suction pipe over the entire circumference, but the hood covering the suction pipe was made wider than this, which required costly construction work, especially with several jacks arranged next to one another.
The present invention aims to make the air-thinning water jet strong without such widening of the hood covering the suction pipe. It consists in the fact that the length of the overflow edge is made greater than the greatest width of the siphon suction pipe, for example by the fact that the overflow edge runs along a broken line.
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. Fig. 1 shows, in vertical section along line b-b of Fig. 2, an overflow lifter; FIG. 2 shows the associated horizontal section along the line a = u of FIG. 1; Fig. Ä shows, for example, four raid edges of compared to Fig. 1 and 2 varied system course.
With an overflow of the overflow crown (Fig. 1 and 2) by 5 cm, the water jet S will be about twice as strong as if the overflow edge perpendicular and straight ge, since the line is about twice as long as the width B of the raid . Of course, the length of the overflow crown can still be changed - and lengthened - and thus the beam S can be further strengthened, as is shown in plan in FIG. 3.
