Abstract
L'invention concerne un inhalateur de poudre sèche comprenant au moins une entrée d'air à une zone d'extrémité distale dudit inhalateur, au moins une sortie d'air à une zone d'extrémité proximale dudit inhalateur, et un canal d'air entre ladite au moins une entrée d'air et ladite au moins une sortie d'air ; au moins un réservoir de médicament ; un mécanisme de dosage pour agencer au moins une dose d'un médicament à partir dudit au moins un réservoir de médicament entre le canal d'air et la sortie d'air de telle sorte que ladite au moins une dose peut être administrée lors de l'inhalation à ladite sortie d'air. Le mécanisme de dosage comprend un disque de dosage avec au moins une cavité, le disque de dosage pouvant être mis en rotation entre une position de collecte, dans laquelle la cavité est positionnée dans le réservoir de médicament, et une position d'administration de dose, dans laquelle la cavité est en communication avec ledit canal d'air. L'inhalateur comprend en outre au moins un agitateur situé à l'intérieur du ou des réservoirs, comprenant un interacteur. L'interacteur interagit avec le disque ou la cavité de dosage, de telle sorte que la rotation du disque de dosage transfère de l'énergie à l'agitateur, qui va libérer de l'énergie sous forme de mouvement pendant le déplacement du disque de dosage de la position de collecte de dose à la position d'administration de dose.
