Abstract

L'invention comprend un système de traitement de gaz pour transformer un gaz entrant contenant des hydrocarbures en produits gazeux sortant, le système comprenant un sous-système de distribution de gaz, une chambre de réaction au plasma et un sous-système de micro-ondes, le sous-système de distribution de gaz étant en communication fluidique avec la chambre de réaction au plasma, de telle sorte que le sous-système de distribution de gaz dirige le gaz entrant contenant des hydrocarbures dans la chambre de réaction au plasma et le sous-système de micro-ondes dirige l'énergie micro-onde dans la chambre de réaction au plasma pour activer le gaz entrant contenant des hydrocarbures, formant ainsi un plasma dans la chambre de réaction au plasma, ledit plasma provoquant la transformation d'un hydrocarbure dans le gaz entrant contenant des hydrocarbures en produits gazeux sortants, qui comprennent de l'acétylène et de l'hydrogène. L'invention concerne également des procédés d'utilisation dudit système de traitement de gaz.
