Abstract

Il est décrit un procédé à deux étapes de traitement au préalable de résidus ayant subis un traitement de mousse obtenus à partir dun bassin de résidus, lesquelles deux étapes comprennent une étape de flottement et une étape de décapage. Létape de flottement peut constituer la première étape délimination du bitume et dhydrocarbures légers dissouts, comme un diluant naphténique, tandis que létape de décapage consiste à éliminer les hydrocarbures légers restants en vue dobtenir un débit de vapeur composé dair et dhydrocarbures légers, ainsi quun débit de résidus nettoyés. Les résidus nettoyés sont ensuite déshydratés, lequel procédé peut comprendre lajout dun produit chimique immobilisant et dun floculant, puis transportés par pipeline jusquà un puits de mine dans lequel ils sont versés en vue de créer une structure de stockage aquatique permanente ayant une couche riche en matière solide formée par sédimentation et une couche deau recouvrant cette dernière.
