Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une vapeur inhalable. Le procédé comprend le fait de placer une quantité d'une substance en phase solide à bas point de fusion sur au moins un élément chauffant suspendu pour permettre un écoulement libre d'air autour du ou des éléments chauffants et à travers celui ou ceux-ci. La substance contient des ingrédients actifs pour produire un effet physiologique chez un être humain. Le procédé comprend en outre le fait d'amener le ou les éléments chauffants à faire fondre au moins une partie de la substance en phase solide de sorte qu'elle passe en phase liquide, le fait d'absorber au moins une certaine quantité de la substance en phase liquide dans un matériau absorbant se trouvant essentiellement entièrement à l'intérieur du ou des éléments chauffants de façon à maintenir au moins une partie de la certaine quantité de substance en phase liquide à une température qui évapore la substance en phase liquide de sorte qu'elle passe en phase vapeur, et le fait de faire en sorte qu'au moins une certaine quantité de la substance en phase vapeur soit transportée par de l'air aspiré à travers le matériau absorbant afin qu'elle pénètre dans un système respiratoire de l'être humain.
