Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de traitement de scories contenant du titane. Le procédé comprend la mise en contact de scories contenant du titane (2) avec une première solution de lixiviation à l'acide sulfurique (4), pour dissoudre les impuretés contenues dans les scories et ainsi obtenir une première suspension. Dans le procédé, la première suspension (8) est soumise à une séparation solide-liquide (10) pour obtenir une première solution de lixiviation à l'acide sulfurique contenant les impuretés dissoutes d'un premier résidu de lixiviation contenant du titane (12).
