Abstract
Un chauffe-eau de type entreposage est doté dun contrôleur. Le contrôleur contrôle un élément chauffant supérieur de sorte quune température deau de zone supérieure est maintenue environ au point de consigne de température. Le contrôleur calcule un différentiel de température fondée sur une différence entre une température de leau de zone supérieure et une température de leau de zone inférieure. Le contrôleur contrôle un élément chauffant inférieur de sorte que le différentiel de température ne dépasse pas une première limite pendant les périodes de faible demande deau prévue et de sorte que le différentiel de température ne dépasse pas une deuxième limite pendant les périodes de forte demande deau prévue. Périodiquement, le contrôle passe de la première limite à la deuxième limite pendant les périodes de faible demande deau prévue.
