Abstract

On présente de nouveaux gènes capables de promouvoir l'accumulation d'acide pétrosélinique ainsi qu'une méthode permettant de produire de l'acide pétrosélinique à l'aide des gènes en question. Ces nouveaux gènes codent une protéine contenant la séquence d'acides aminés indiquée dans la séquence no 4 ou 6, laquelle peut comprendre la délétion, la substitution ou l'addition d'un ou de plusieurs acide(s) aminé(s) et qui possède une activité pétrosélinoyl-ACP thioestérase. On décrit également des méthodes permettant de produire de l'acide pétrosélinique ainsi que des cellules végétales modifiées.
