Abstract

On décrit une méthode de fabrication d'un matériau de recouvrement composite non poreux à partir d'un matériau de poils et d'une couche d'adhésif préparée à partir de polypropylène ou principalement de polypropylène. Une largeur du matériau de poils est avancée et une couche d'adhésif y est appliquée. On laisse l'adhésif sécher et la largeur du matériau est coupée longitudinalement en bande de matériau de recouvrement composite. Des rouleaux à peinture stratifiés sont par la suite fabriqués en enroulant hélicoïdalement une ou deux bandes de polypropylène ou de bandes constituées principalement de polypropylène autour d'un mandrin et en appliquant une couche d'adhésif constitué de polypropylène ou principalement de polypropylène sur la bande ou les bandes, et en appliquant un matériau de recouvrement composition non poreux. Une force de compression est appliquée sur la surface extérieure du matériau de recouvrement composite pour presser ensemble le matériau de recouvrement composite, la couche d'adhésif et la bande ou les bandes de matériau thermoplastique contre le mandrin, stratifiant ainsi la surface intérieure du matériau de recouvrement composite et la bande ou les bandes ensemble et formant un produit continu qui peut être coupé et fini pour fabriquer des rouleaux à peinture.
