Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil qui comprend: un introducteur de biomasse (31) qui introduit de la biomasse brute (11) d'une zone sous atmosphère à pression ordinaire vers une zone sous atmosphère à haute pression; un décomposeur hydrothermal (41A) dans lequel la biomasse brute introduite (11) est transportée au moyen d'une vis sans fin (43) d'une extrémité inférieure à une partie intérieure du corps principal (42) d'un dispositif incliné, alors que simultanément, de l'eau chaude sous pression (15) est introduite dans la partie intérieure du corps principal du dispositif (42) depuis une extrémité supérieure, différente de l'extrémité d'introduction de la biomasse brute (11), ce qui fait que la biomasse brute (11) subit une décomposition hydrothermale lorsqu'elle est mise en contact à contre-courant avec l'eau chaude sous pression (15) de façon à transférer vers l'eau chaude sous pression (15) un composant à base de lignine et un composant à base d'hémicellulose et à séparer de la biomasse brute (11) ces composants; et un déchargeur de biomasse (51) qui prend la masse solide de biomasse (17) et la décharge de l'extrémité supérieure du corps principal du dispositif (42), c'est-à-dire de la zone sous atmosphère à haute pression, vers une zone sous atmosphère à pression ordinaire.
