Abstract

La présente invention concerne un traitement destiné à être utilisé comme additif pour huile à moteur. L'objet de la présente invention peut comprendre une certaine quantité d'un liquide de base ou d'un autre liquide tel que le polybutylène, l'huile naphthénique ou un liquide de base du groupe III ainsi que du bismuth dans du soufre inactif. La formule de la présente invention peut comprendre un ou plusieurs éléments parmi ce qui suit: un additif antimousse, un modificateur de frottement, un détergent, un dispersant et un ester de polyol. Le bismuth peut agir comme une matière sacrificielle particulièrement bien adaptée pour être utilisée comme additif au lubrifiant car sa matière inorganique à fort poids se ramollit à des températures élevées. Dans le mode de réalisation préféré, on utilise environ 60 % du liquide de base et environ 30 % de bismuth dans du soufre non actif (approximativement de 15 % à 18 % en poids de bismuth), en volume. Le traitement peut s'avérer utile comme additif pour une huile à moteur, un lubrifiant hydraulique, un lubrifiant pour engrenages, un lubrifiant pour huiles diesel ou un lubrifiant pour compresseur.
