Abstract

Dispositif et procédé de compostage en circuit fermé servant à effectuer le traitement continu de déchets alimentaires afin d'obtenir un produit fini contenant deux éléments, à savoir un matériau de compostage organique volumineux et un liquide riche en compost. Ce dispositif est constitué par un broyeur/trieuse de particules (120) alimentant un tambour horizontal (200) possédant au moins trois chambres (21, 220, 230) pourvues d'orifices de liaison (215, 225) dont le diamètre augmente progressivement et qui conduisent à un réservoir collecteur (400). Ce dispositif est équipé, de plus, de moyens motorisés servant à entraîner le tambour en rotation, à drainer le trop-plein de liquide depuis la première chambre (210), à maintenir un volume de ce liquide à une température élevée pendant une durée déterminée, puis à l'injecter dans le produit de compost fini contenu dans la troisième et dernière chambre (230), de manière à obtenir un compost liquide.
