Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à des fonds de siège à angle ouvert pour sièges. Elle se rapporte plus particulièrement à un fond de siège fournissant un support indépendant à la fois aux cuisses d'une personne et aux os en contact avec le fond de siège lorsque ladite personne est en position assise. Ce fond de siège comporte une première surface de support (64) généralement plane et conçue pour supporter une personne assise au niveau de ses os en contact avec le siège. Il comporte également une seconde surface de support (72), qui est aussi généralement plane et conçue pour supporter la personne assise au niveau des cuisses. Le plan de la première surface de support et celui de la seconde surface de support se coupent de sorte que lorsque la première surface de support est généralement horizontale, la seconde surface de support est orientée généralement vers l'avant et vers le bas par rapport à la première surface de support.
