Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de séparer de la biomasse contenant de la lignocellulose, notamment du bois, en différents principaux constituants sous forme de lignine, d'hémicellulose et de cellulose, qui comprend les étapes suivantes : a) hydrolysation préalable de la biomasse contenant de la lignocellulose par traitement avec de l'eau ou de la vapeur d'eau ; b) extraction avec une substance aqueuse de l'hémicellulose hydrolysée résultant de l'hydrolysation préalable ; c) extraction de la lignine modifiée par processus, demeurée dans le résidu, avec une alconolamine, isolation de la lignine, récupération de l'alconolamine, cette dernière n'étant pas substituée par des groupes alkyle sur l'azote, et d) obtention d'une matière cellulosique brute. L'invention se caractérise en ce que les hémicelluloses et la lignine peuvent être séparées de manière ciblée de la cellulose en deux différentes étapes du procédé. Il est possible à cet effet d'utiliser des constituants de système simples disponibles dans le commerce et de parvenir à un fonctionnement économique avec des installations de dimensions réduites.
