Abstract
L'invention vise à permettre d'éviter, lors de la coulée d'une matière fondue métallique (2) contenue dans une cuve métallurgique (5) présentant un trou de coulée (10) situé au fond (13) de la cuve, que le laitier en fusion (1) ne s'écoule avec la matière fondue métallique ou à la suite de cette dernière. A cet effet, un jet de gaz (9) présentant une grande énergie d'impulsion est utilisé pour chasser de la surface de la matière métallique en fusion, le laitier en fusion (1) dans la zone du trou de coulée (10).
