Abstract

L'invention porte sur un lanceur de balles de base-ball, de balles molles etc. synchronisé pour fonctionner en association avec un écran vidéo (304, 314) pour permettre au frappeur de voir le mouvement du lanceur avant et pendant le lancement. Le lanceur comporte une tête de lancement (12) comprenant au moins deux et de préférence trois roues (72) concourant au lancement de la balle vers le frappeur entraînées par autant de moteurs c.a. et leurs éléments de transmission qui sont munis de circuits dynamiques de freinage permettant la décélération rapide des roues. Deux vérins linéaires (50, 60) permettent d'orienter la tête horizontalement et verticalement. Une commande programmable (220) permet de choisir l'image, et la vitesse de rotation des roues correspondant à un lancement particulier, ainsi que l'orientation (horizontale et verticale) du lanceur.
