Abstract

A brace for attachment between two cylindrical fence posts comprises a pair of sliding tubular members which can be pinned to define a length of a brace. Each end of the brace carries a strap which can be bent slightly to follow the curvature of the respective fence post so that the strap wraps around the fence post and is nailed thereto. The brace is thus attached across the top of the fence posts and can be simply mounted in place without the necessity for notching the fence posts.
