Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de contrôle (10) de la déshydratation d'une boue qui repose sur la détermination de la structure de la boue après l'addition d'un additif pour prédire l'aptitude à la déshydratation de ladite boue par un moyen de déshydratation. Le système (10) repose sur un procédé de contrôle de la déshydratation de la boue, le procédé consistant à obtenir une relation (25) entre la structure des particules et la teneur en matières sèches du gâteau de la boue (15), à surveiller en continu la structure des particules de boue de manière à fournir une information en continu sur la teneur en matières sèches du gâteau de la boue et à ajouter un additif à la boue en fonction de la teneur en matières sèches du gâteau, ce qui permet de contrôler les caractéristiques de déshydratation de la boue (15). La structure de la boue est déterminée à l'aide de la dimension fractale des particules constituant la boue.
