Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de séparation de l'or placérien. Selon ce procédé, des couches de sable et de gravier contenant de l'or placérien et du minerai d'or, ces couches s'étant accumulées dans le lit d'une rivière ou dans le sol, sont excavées ou aspirées grâce à la différence de pression de l'eau. On amène ainsi un mélange du sable, du gravier, et de l'eau contenant de l'or placérien et du minerai d'or, excavé ou aspiré, à s'écouler horizontalement sous l'effet d'un fluide sous pression. Puis on sépare l'or placérien et le minerai d'or de ce mélange en utilisant la différence de densité pendant que ce mélange s'écoule. L'invention concerne également un système mis en oeuvre selon ce procédé, ainsi qu'un navire d'exploitation de l'or placérien. Ce navire comprend des organes d'excavation/d'aspiration, des organes de transfert du mélange, des organes de séparation de l'or placérien, fonctionnant grâce à la différence de densité, et des organes destinés à rejeter le mélange restant une fois l'or placérien séparé de celui-ci. L'invention concerne enfin un procédé de séparation de l'or placérien. Selon ce procédé, un mélange d'or placérien et de minerai d'or, ou de minerai d'or pulvérisé, s'écoule dans un cylindre métallique, permettant à des organes appropriés, placés la surface extérieure circulaire de ce cylindre métallique, de produire un champ magnétique. Puis on forme un dépôt magnétique d'or placérien, contenu dans ledit mélange, sur la surface intérieure dudit cylindre métallique, ce qui permet ainsi de séparer l'or placérien du mélange.
