Abstract

Disclosed is an elastomeric cycloolefinpolymer containing 1 to 50 mol/ % of polymerized units derived from one or a plurality of polycyclic olefins, with one or several norbornene units and 50to 99 mol/ % of polymerized units derived from one or more acyclic olefins of formula (a), where R i, R ii, R iii and R iv are the same or different and a hydrogen atom is a straight, branched, saturated or unsaturated C1-C20 hydrocarbon residue or a C6-C18 aryl residue, and 50 to 99 mol/% of polymerized units derived from one or several monocyclic olefins of formula (VIII), where n is a number between 2 and 10.
