Abstract
Appareil permettant de mesurer les concentrations de gaz dans une composition de gaz à température élevée. L'appareil inclut une cellule optique athermique multipassages (p.ex., une cellule de Herriot), un dispositif optique et un détecteur. La cellule, qui reçoit une composition de gaz à température élevée, inclut une structure de montage qui soutient une paire de miroirs concaves opposés l'un à l'autre, disposés le long d'un axe commun et séparés par une distance choisie. Un des miroirs inclut un orifice à travers lequel un faisceau d'entrée provenant d'une source lumineuse pénètre dans la cellule. Le faisceau est reflété de manière répétitive entre les miroirs avant de sortir de la cellule par l'orifice, transformé en un faisceau de sortie. La structure de montage sert à maintenir les miroirs à une distance choisie. Le dispositif optique est placé de manière à recevoir le faisceau de sortie provenant de la cellule. Un couplage optique du détecteur et d'un dispositif d'imagerie permet de recevoir le faisceau de sortie afin que l'on puisse mesurer les concentrations de gaz dans la composition de gaz à température élevée. Il est possible d'isoler la source lumineuse, le dispositif optique et le détecteur de la composition de gaz à température élevée, présente dans la cellule.
