Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de sonde souterraine (1-3) permettant de fournir des informations relatives aux matériaux sous une surface. Cette sonde comporte un boîtier (2) et un moyen (1) destiné à chauffer le matériau environnant. La chaleur fait fondre le matériau environnant pour permettre à la sonde de descendre. La sonde transmet des informations à la surface par un fil métallique ou un autre moyen (3, 21, 22, 30) destiné à véhiculer des informations. Ce fil métallique (3, 21, 22, 30) est rangé sur la sonde et se déploie à mesure que celle-ci descend.
