Abstract
Une méthode de diagnostic sur un patient, qui consiste à envoyer à un patient une dose sous forme d'aérosol d'une formulation radioactive et à réaliser une image de ventilation de la substance radioactive déposée dans le poumon. L'invention concerne également des dispositifs et une méthodologie pour la création d'aérosols, qui permettent d'envoyer de manière efficace et répétée des radioaérosols dans les poumons d'un patient. Le dispositif est équipé d'un récipient (1) contenant une formulation radioactive (5). L'actionnement du dispositif envoie la formulation radioactive (5) à travers une membrane poreuse (3) du récipient, membrane présentant des pores d'un diamètre de l'ordre d'environ 0,25 micron à 6,0 microns. Le récipient comporte un écran anti-radioactivité (84) se présentant sous la forme d'une couche de plomb et/ou d'un enveloppe au plomb. La membrane poreuse (3) est alignée avec une surface du canal (6) par lequel le patient inhale l'air.
