Abstract
On installe, au titre d'un procédé permettant d'évaluer la teneur d'un os en minéraux autour d'une prothèse composite (27) transparente au rayonnement, un contour d'implant (118, 124) en ajustant un modèle mis en mémoire sur des marqueurs de référence (31) opaques aux rayons X encastrés dans la prothèse. On utilise ce contour d'implant pour obtenir un contour servant à effectuer des mesures (126), une fois déplacé du contour d'implant vers l'os (26), ce qui donnera une région conforme présentant un intérêt. Il est possible d'afficher des histogrammes (130) de la teneur d'un os en minéraux, mis en correspondance, dans une zone latérale et médiane présentant un intérêt, pour évaluer des anomalies de contraintes symétriques. Selon une autre possibilité, la teneur en minéraux peut être affichée, rapportée le long d'un axe (132) coupant de part en part les cotés médians et latéraux. On identifie des points de calibrage (100, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110) à partir de la morphologie de l'os et de celle de l'implant afin de veiller à ce que chaque représentation ait une référence susceptible de se répéter et qu'il soit possible, de ce fait, de la comparer directement à des représentations plus anciennes et plus récentes, ce qui aidera à déceler un remodelage osseux.
