Abstract

L'invention concerne un additif de viscosité pour huiles lubrifiantes, lequel est particulièrement économique et stable dans le temps bien qu'il comporte à la fois de fortes proportions de polyméthacrylates (PMA) d'une part, et de copolymères d'oléfine (OCP) d'autre part. Cet additif contient plus précisément de 6 à 15 parties d'un copolymère éthylène-propylène (OCP) de masse moléculaire comprise entre 155.000 et 250.000 et de rapport pondéral éthylène/proppylène compris entre 60/40 et 54/46. Il contient également de 2 à 8 parties d'un polyméthacrylate d'alkyle en C1-C20 (PMA) de masse moléculaire comprise entre 30.000 et 150.000, avec un rapport PMA/OCP de 1/5 à 1/1, le complément à 100 parties étant constitué d'huile de dilution. L'invention concerne aussi les compositions lubrifiantes contenant de 0,1 à 10% de cet additif.
