Abstract

Procédé de moulage à mousse perdue et sous pression de pièces métalliques. Le procédé consiste après avoir rempli le moule avec le métal à l'état liquide et avant que la fraction solidifiée de métal ne dépasse 40% en poids, à
appliquer une pression gazeuse isostatique sur l'ensemble moule-métal dont la valeur est comprise entre 1,5 et 10 MPa.
L'invention trouve une application dans l'obtention de pièces notamment en alliages d'aluminium présentant des caractéristiques mécaniques améliorées et en particulier une meilleure tenue à la fatigue.
