Abstract

The weft (1) has a running weave strip (3) arranged in a transverse orientation to a set of contiguous hairs (2). An adhesive support (4) secures the contiguous hairs to the weave strip when the hair weft is secured to hair. The weave strip extends beyond the adhesive support in a direction corresponding to the orientation of the hairs. The weave strip together with the adhesive support is attached at a distance from ends of the hairs. The hairs are connected to a transversely-running weave strip by an adhesive support, where the strip projects beyond the adhesive support.
