Abstract

MéTODO DE IMPLANTAR UM DISPOSITIVO MéDICO USANDO UM EXTENSOR DE ABA DE SUTURA. A presente invenção refere-se a um método de implantar uma faixa cirurgicamente implantável, o método compreendendo as etapas de fornecer uma faixa que compreende um elemento de corpo alongado incluindo uma primeira extremidade tendo um primeiro elemento de engate posicionado na mesma, e uma segunda extremidade tendo um segundo elemento de engate posicionado na mesma. The second end has a gripping section positioned thereon, shaped and sized to facilitate grasping thereof as the gastric band extender is passed through the second engaging member. The method further includes the step of positioning the strip around an anatomical structure, engaging said strip around said structure by placing said suture flap extender through the second engaging member and thereafter coupling the first and second locking elements. hitch The method further involves the step of removing the suture flap extender from the band.
