Abstract

COMPOSIçãO VISCOELáSTICA DE POLìMERO NATURAL TRIPLO. Uma composição viscoelástica de polímero natural triplo é descrita. Por combinação de sulfato de glucosamina ("GS"), hialuronato de sódio ("HA") e sulfato de condroitina ("CS"), as composições viscoelásticas de polímero natural triplo desta invenção pode prover um agente viscoelástico a um sitio cirúrgico que não apenas serve como um agente protetor a tecidos oculares, mas que pode também agir como um agente para aliviar dor e inflamação associada à cirurgia ocular. Concretizações desta invenção podem compreender GS combinado com agentes viscoelásticos de HA/CS existentes. Concretizações desta invenção pode também compreender GS e CS em combinação com uma solução de irrigação. Além disso, para aumentar tempo de retenção no sítio de uma aplicação intra-articular de uma concretização desta invenção, os seguintes polímeros biodegradáveis podem também ser incluídos em uma concretização das composições da presente invenção, derivados de celulose (por exemplo, hidroxipropilmetilcelulose, etilcelulose, caboximetilcelulose, etc.), carbopol, quitosano, e colágeno.
