Abstract
TRANSFORMAçãO HìBRIDA ADAPTáVEL PARA ANáLISE E SìNTESE DE SINAL. A presente invenção refere-se a bancos de filtros de análise e síntese tal como estes utilizados nos sistemas de codificação de áudio e vídeo que são implementados por uma transformação híbrida que compreende uma transformação primária em cascata com uma ou mais transformações secundárias. As transformações primárias para os bancos de filtros implementam um sistema de análise/síntese no qual artefatos de freqüências réplicas no domínio do tempo são cancelados. As transformações secundárias, as quais estão em cascata com as transformações primárias, são aplicadas junto aos blocos de coeficientes da transformação. O comprimento dos blocos é variado para adaptar a resolução de tempo dos bancos de filtros de análise e síntese.
