Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A RECUPERAçãO DE NìQUEL OU DE COBALTO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a recuperação de níquel ou de cobalto compreende a preparação de um primeiro minério de óxido (minério de óxido 102a) e de um segundo minério de óxido (minério de óxido 102b) com um teor de magnésio mais alto do que o primeiro minério de óxido como o minério de óxido; a lixiviação de níquel ou de cobalto do primeiro minério de óxido com ácido sulfúrico 105 para se obter um lixiviado com ácido sulfúrico (lixiviado com ácido sulfúrico 108) que contém níquel ou cobalto e um resíduo de lixiviação 109; a misturação do lixiviado de ácido sulfúrico que contém o resíduo de lixiviação 109 com o segundo minério de óxido para reagir o lixiviado de ácido sulfúrico com magnésio no segundo minério de óxido para ajustar um pH para se obter uma solução da reação 110 que contém níquel ou cobalto e um resíduo da reação 111 que contém ferro e a neutralização da solução da reação 110 que contém o resíduo da reação 111 com um agente de neutralização 112 para se obter uma solução de neutralização 113 que contém níquel ou cobalto e um resíduo de neutralização 114 que contém ferro.
