Abstract
MéTODO DE DESCONTAMINAçAQ POR VIA LìQUIDA DE UM MATERIAL CONTENDO CROMO HEXAVALENTE, E MATéRIA-PRIMA PARA FABRICAçãO DE PRODUTOS REFRATáRIOS A invenção refere-se a um método para descontaminação de um material contendo cromo hexavalente, mediante utilização de um líquido. De acordo com o referido método, o material é lixiviado para formação de uma fase líquida e uma fase sólida. A invenção é caracterizada por a lixiviação ocorrer em meio ácido na presença de um agente redutor de tal forma que o cromo hexavalente é transformado em cromo trivalente em uma solução e de tal forma que o pH é aumentado para formação de hidróxido de cromo no estado sólido.
