Abstract

"SEPARAçãO DE PARTìCULAS DE POLìMERO E DILUENTE VAPORIZADO EM UM CICLONE". Um processo da polimerização do olefina em que o monómero, o diluente e o catalisador são circulados em um reator de laço contínuo e uma pasta do produto é retirada e passada através de um canal aquecido a um ciclone, é descrito. O ciclone permite a separação melhor do diluente vaporizado. Em uma incorporação preferida, a pasta é aquecida em um aquecedor 'flashline' de modo que uma porcentagem elevada do diluente retirado seja vaporizada. O diluente vaporizado e o produto intermediário concentrado são passados a um ciclone onde uma maioria do diluente vaporizado é separada e condensada por troca de calor, sem compressão, e reciclada ao reator. Também um aparelho para separar partículas vaporizadas do diluente e do polímero usando um ciclone é descrito.
