Abstract
"AMORTECIMENTO DEPENDENTE DE CURSO". Um absorvedor de choque de dois estágios (10) tem um tubo de pressão (14) no qual um conjunto de válvula (46) é disposto de forma deslizante. Uma haste de pistão (18) é afixada ao conjunto de válvula e se estende para fora do tubo de pressão. Após uma quantidade especificada de movimento do conjunto de válvula com respeito ao tubo de pressão em um movimento de extensão do absorvedor de choque, a luva se encaixa em uma pluralidade de orifícios posicionados em espiral (86 ) e reduz o escoamento de fluido através do conjunto de válvula para progressivamente comutar o absorvedor de choque de um amortecimento suave para um amortecimento firme. Em uma outra modalidade, a luva se encaixa em uma ranhura em espiral de profundidade variável (188) para reduzir o escoamento de fluido através do conjunto de válvula para progressivamente comutar o absorvedor de choque de um amortecimento suave para um amortecimento firme.
