Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA REMOçãO DE FóSFORO EM MINéRIOS DE FERRO". Contendo proporções variadas de hematita, goethita, magnetita e quartzo. O fósforo é removido por extração durante 15 minutos com hidróxido de sódio em pH variando de 10 a 13 e em temperaturas de extração de 20<198>C até 96 <198>C, após calcinação em temperaturas de até 1200 <198>C durante 15 minutos do minério previamente britado e/ou moído. Após a extração o minério é separado por filtração ou decantação, e lavado com água para remover o excesso de NaOH sendo o minério novamente filtrado. O NaOH poderá ser recuperado e reutilizado no processo. A etapa de extração do fósforo com NaOH poderá ser realizada junto com a etapa de flotação que é feita para a remoção de sílica."Process for phosphorus removal in iron ores".
