Abstract

"MéTODO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE ALUMìNIO EM UM FORNO E USO DE DIODO A LASER". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para o tratamento de alumínio em um forno, em que um material contendo alumínio e, opcionalmente, um ou mais sais é introduzido no forno, este material é fundido por meio da entrada de calor usando ao menos um queimador suprido com um agente oxidante e com combustível, de modo a obter alumínio fundido o qual é opcionalmente coberto com uma escória, compreendendo alumínio e pelo menos um sal e a concentração de monóxido de carbono (CO~ m~)e/ou de hidrogênio (H~ 2m~) no forno ou nos gases da fornalha que saem do forno é medida. O agente combustível fornecido a pelo menos um queimador compreende mais de 10% por volume de oxigênio, de preferência, mais de 21% por volume de oxigênio e o método compreende uma fase final de redução da oxidação do alumínio fundido durante a qual o agente oxidante é substancialmente constante, enquanto o fluxo do combustível injetado em pelo menos um queimador é selecionado de acordo com a concentração de monóxido de carbono de óxido de metal Co~ c~ e/ou óxido de metal hidrogênio H~ 2c~, na atmosfera ou gases de combustão ou vice versa. A concentração de monóxido de carbono de óxido de metal CO~ mo~ e/ou hidrogênio de óxido de metal H~ 2mo~ é calculada como a diferença entre a concentração das espécies medida e a concentração das espécies intrínseca Co ou H~ 2~ causada pela combustão do combustível e o agente oxidante no forno com pelo menos um queimador, porém na ausência de uma carga no forno.
