Abstract
"PROCEDIMENTO E DISPOSITIVO PARA REVESTIR UMA TIRA DE METAL POR IMERSãO EM BANHO QUENTE". A presente invenção se refere a um procedimento para revestir uma tira de metal (1), particularmente, uma tira de aço, por imersão em banho quente, sendo que a tira de metal (1) é conduzido verticalmente através de um recipiente (3) contendo o metal para revestimento (2) fundido, bem como através de um canal de guia (4) posicionado a seu montante e que apresenta uma altura (H) definida, sendo que pelo menos dois indutores (5) estão posicionados de ambos os lados da tira de metal (1) para produzir um campo eletromagnético, para reter o metal para revestimento (2) dentro do recipiente (3) na região do canal de guia (4) . Em conformidade com a presente invenção, está previsto, para tranqüilizar a efervescência do banho para revestimento, que um fluxo de volume (Q) predeterminado de metal para revestimento (2) seja conduzido ao canal de guia (4) na região do prolongamento de sua altura (H). Ademais, a presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo para revestir uma tira de metal por imersão em banho quente.
