Abstract
"ANTENA DE MICROONDAS PARA ABLAçãO MéDICA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma antena de microondas (10) para ablação cardíaca. Em particular, ela concerne a uma antena como essa adequada para ablação de cateter. A antena compreende uma linha de transmissão (11) que tem um condutor interno (13), um condutor externo (14) e um isolante dielétrico (15) para a provisão de isolamento entre o condutor interno e o externo. Um elemento de antena de emissão de energia (12) está localizado na extremidade distal da linha de transmissão. O elemento de antena tem um condutor interno (17) eletricamente acoplado ao comando de iniciador da linha de transmissão, e uma bainha de isolante dielétrico (16) em torno do condutor interno contínua com o isolante da linha de transmissão. Em sua extremidade distal há um tampão metálico oco (20) eletricamente conectado ao condutor interno e circundando um comprimento do isolamento. Em um outro aspecto, ela concerne a um método para a feitura dessa antena.
