Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES PARA TRATAMENTO DE áGUA COM AGENTE DE MASCARAMENTO". A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição para desinfetar água potável contaminada. A composição pode incluir um agente desinfetante para desinfectar ou sanitizar à água, e um agente de mascaramento para mascarar ou minimizar características indesejadas do agente desinfetante, como gosto e odor. O agente desinfetante pode ser um agente desinfetante com base em halogênio, como um agente desinfetante com base em cloro. O agente de mascaramento pode ser um agente de mascaramento ou flavorizante compatível com cloro, como um sabor derivado de frutas cítricas. A composição pode, também, incluir um substrato. O substrato pode ser argila, zeólito, veículo solúvel em água, veículo insolúvel em água, ou misturas dos mesmos. O flavorizante pode ser carregado no substrato. A composição pode incluir outros componentes, como um coagulante principal, um auxiliar de coagulação, um floculante de ligação, um material polimérico, um agente de álcali, um oxidante autocatalítico e misturas dos mesmos.
